A few weeks ago the summer CHA fair was hosted in Chicago. This is the bi-annual hobby and craft fair where companies display their products to wholesalers for purchase. I have had a lot of fun following what the 'in and out' scrapbooking trends are going to be. Scrapbookupdate.com and Paperclipping.com

On the show they answered my question 'How do you actually get a hold of all this new stuff?' .
Their discussion was very enlightening. What they said was that the typical 'Big Box' stores do not carry the really interesting boutique kind of scrapbooking products that many people love. The best place to get them in online. One of the guests suggested I try www.stopandscrap.com

I had never hear of this online store before and I headed right over. It looks really great! On the right hand side they list all of the new products that will be coming out. You can pre-order the products and when the last one comes in they will send the entire bundle to you. If you spend more than 100 dollars then the shipping is free. They also ship overseas. I just tried out what the price might be, and for 155 dollar order the shipping is 55 dollars. It would be interesting to see what a more expensive order or less expensive order might cost to ship. With the airline industry charging for extra bags the 55 dollar price does not seem extreme to me. If you are buying paper (which a ton of it was in my order) it is heavy and fills up your suitcase weight pretty fast.

I will still have my order sent to the States for me to pick up later, but for those of you who do not have that option I suggest you take a look over at www.stopandscrap.com!
