Çok dan dir blogumda bir Scrapbook sayfası eklemedim ! Blogumun ismi 'Scrapbooking in Turkey' olduğuna göre bunu yapmayı ihmal etmemeliyim!

Bir kaç defa sevgili eşim ile Tayland'a gittim. Geçen yaz bunun hakkında bir album başladım. Bu yaz bitirmeye çalışıyorum. Artık blogumda koymayı zaman geldi!

Album olarak güzel ve değişik 20cmx20cm album K and Company'dan aldım.

Bu albumun değişikliği çok beğendim. Sayfalar 20cmx20cm dan oluşuyor. Fakat albumun büyüklüğü daha fazla. Album açınca sağında ve solunda albumun içi gözüküyor.
Bu çok hoş olduğunu düşündüm.
Tayland'da çok ve çok güzel çiçekler var. Onun için bu çiçekli kumaşlı ablumu kullanmayı karar verdim. Sayfalar yapmayı başlayınca bir zorluk karşıladım. Albumun içi her sayfanın yanında gözüktüğü için sayfaların renkleri hem resimlerle beraber üygün olmakla beraber albumun gözüken kumaşlı iç kısmına da üyümlü olmalıdı. Bu işimi zorlaştırdı. Ama işimi kolaylaştıran şey desenli kağıtıydı. Bütün kullandım kağıt iki taraflıydı ve 'Crate Paper' markasıydı. Bu kağıt biraz daha pahalı fakat çok kalın ve kaliteli bir kağıt. En sevdiğim desenli kağıt markası diyebilirim. http://www.cratepaper.com/home.html

Hi Friends,

I realize it has been a while since I have put up any scrapbook pages on my blog and since the name of my blog is Scrapbooking in Turkey, I guess it is about time I put a page or two up.
(I just have been having too much fun using my new stamps for cards.)

I have gone with my husband several times to Thailand and last summer I figured it was time I did an album about our times there. I am in the process of finishing up that project so it is a great time to start showing it on my blog!

The Album I have used here is from K and Company. Their things are truly outstanding and every time you visit their site they have new amazing products!

I chose this album because I liked the flowers and the unique design. The actual page sizes are 8.5x8.5 inch. (Be sure to realize that when you are buying a K and Company Album the medium sizes are NOT 8x8 they are 8.5 by 8.5 inch. I think that they are the only company that varies on the size. Be sure you buy the correct size pages if you are adding extensions.)



The only difficultly with this type of album is that when you open it up the left and right sides of the album are seen next to your pages. So, not only do you need to match your page colors to your pictures but also to the inside pages of your album. This was a bit tricky to do.

In the end I ended up using a double sided set of patterned papers from the 'Crate Paper' Company. Their papers are incredible! I have to say this has to be my favorite company because of the quality and originality of design for their patterned papers. Take a look!
