Merhaba Arkadaşlar,

Bugün Tayland Albumumdan dört sayfa ekliyorum. Bunlar ikişer ikişer olarak yaptım.
Albumunuz yaptığınız zaman sol ve sağ sayfaları beraber yapmak daha iyi sonuç eder diye tekrarlıyorum.

Bir album yapınca sayfalarınız hem birbirinden değişik olmalı ama aynı zamanda sayfaları bağlayan bir şey olmalı yoksa albumdan ziyade rastgele bir koleksiyon olur. Aslında bu hobiyi yeni başlıyorsanız bir 'Rastgele Koleksiyon Album' ile başlayabilirsiniz. Bu daha kolay. Bunu yaparsanız her sayfanız başka bir albumun başlagıcı olabilir.

Benim Tayland Albumun sayfalarınını bağlayan şey 'çiçek' oldu. Aşayı yukarı her sayfada bir çicek var. Bazen desenli kağıt üzerinde oldu bazen bir süs olarak konuldu.


Bu albumu geçen yaz başladım ve oval kağıt parçalar bir 'Coluzzle' ile kestim. Bu kesme sistemi güzel, fakat bu yeni Kesme Böceği makinesi çok çok daha güzel, ve daha düzgün keser hemde Türkiyede satılıyor!! Hi Friends,

I have put up the next couple of pages from my Thailand Album. I almost completed it this weekend!! Just one page left and it is done. I started this last summer and it is high time I completed the project. All of the pages started to look the same to me and I had to take a break from working on it to gain a new perspective. It certainly helped!!

I think there can be a fine line between making an album look like it goes together and having the album become boring because it looks too much the same! I am a firm believer in having your left and right page go together. Otherwise your album ends up looking like a bunch of random scrapbook pages. However.... if you are new to scrapbooking I would say to make your first album just that, a random album of different pages as you start out. You might find that each page is the starting point for an album in its entirety. I have one such album myself and when I get inspired by a particular picture or memory I make a page and put it in that album. I find it kind of becomes a 'hub' that can lead me in many different directions.

When I started my album last year I did not own a Cuttlebug so I cut out my oval shapes using the colluzzle system. That system is not particularly inexpensive and the Cuttlebug is so much ....so much....better that I would advise any new scrapbooker to save up her money and buy the Cuttlebug!!
